The NHCC is located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. As of November 2010, 23 Canadian agencies are involved. They are working together to improve the lives of people living in Canada who have chronic neurological diseases, disorders and injuries. They are developing a Canadia National Brain Stragegy.

New Research at Henry Ford Hospital Links Tinnitus to the Brain (not just the ear or ears). The research used a MEG scan. The scan could pinpoint to greater accuracy the area in the brain actually responsible for the tinnitus. This will lead to more focused treatment.
